Managers don’t get to call the shots (Zhou)

“The best outcomes come from inspiring people to action, not /telling/ them what to do.”

Managers do make decisions, but they are bound by the interest of the team and company. Management is not about making demands, but crafting a functioning team (see Managers inspire teams with a /Purpose/ (Zhou), Managers set their /People/ up to succeed (Zhou), and Managers create effective /Processes/ for team members to work together (Zhou)).
