Connect your vision to reality with your plan. Some considerations:
- Play to the strength of your team, avoid depending on areas of weakness
- Focus on doing a few things well, saying no to many other things
- Break larger goals into smaller pieces
- Establish clear ownership of each chunk
- Balance short and long term goals
- Consider splitting your team to work on projects with different time scales simultaneously.
- Work backwards from a long term vision
- Talk about how everything relates to the vision
